Abstract: Seasonal water flow regime of rivers in the Suceava River Basin.
The study is based on processing and interpreting data from 8 gauging stations,
3 on the main course and 5 most important tributaries. To emphasis flow regime
particularities during the year were counted three time periods (1950-1970,
1950- 2010 and 1970-2010). Geographical features of Suceava River Basin are well
represented in the water flow regime of rivers in the basin. On most rivers
dominates summer flow, followed closely by the spring flow; the lowest annual
average volume appears during winter season. Variation in seasonal multiannual
flow profile was highlighted by the variation coefficients. It has also been
determined the flow trends over the entire period of calculation. While
geomorphological characteristics are influencing the spatial distribution of
flow values, flow quantities and values are influenced directly by the climate
of the area, clearly reflecting a general warming trend in the last decades.
Key words: regime, flow, discharge, variation, seasonal, oscillation.
