SCURGEREA MAXIMĂ PE RÂUL MUREŞ, ÎN SECŢIUNEA PETRIŞ-PĂULIŞ

ABSTRACT. –Maximum stremflow on the Mureş River, the Petriş-Păuliş
section. The present study analyzes the maximum streamflow of the Mureş River on
a time span of 26 years as well as that of its tributary rivers. The analysis is
based on the daily stremflow data gathered by the SGA Arad- «The System of Water
Ressources Arad». The calculated values for maximum streamflow, maximum specific
discharge, and maximum seasonal streamflow expressed in percentages lead to a
thorough characterization of the maximum streamflow patterns necessary for flood
prevention.
