ABSTRACT.- Verifying the Law of the Order of the Slopes in Transylvania Depression. Among the possibilities of establishing the geomorphologic evolution of an area, one can find the one of establishing the slopes’ order, correlated with the one of hydrographic network. In such approach, in this paper is a check of the law for fifteen hydrographic basins in Transylvania Depression. The analysis on the hydrographic basins’ level is justified by the current appearance of the Transylvanian geomorphologic landscapes. They bear the imprint of the role of the fluvial systems that in the process of deepening, in order to adapt to newer base levels, have left behind landforms of the slopes type. The results are offering information about the number of the slopes, slope coefficient, as well as about the slopes density in the hydrographic basins.
