Abstract. Morphological landscapes of Bistricioara river basin - Eastern Carpathians. Bistricioara River is a tributary on the right of Moldovan Bistrita, its catchment area, with an area of 781.3 km2 and is located in the north-central part of the Eastern Carpathians. The working methodology consists in mapping the land made on topographic maps at different scales, interpretation of orthophotoplans, measurements and observations obtained from various field campaigns over a few years, using various computer software and photos. On the basis of morphological identification of landscape types in this basin stood morphographical and lithological characteristics analysis corroborated by morphometric and morphogenetic order issues. There were nine morphological types of landscapes with different characteristics.

Keywords: morphological landscape, Bistricioara, morphography, morphometry, morphogenesis.
