Abstract. Risk is when, in a new situation, a new solution
is adopted or existing solutions are perpetuated without having to anticipate
the future. Today’s realities can be interpreted as risks which were assumed by
predecessors. The present course of “world society” is risk-loaded : new
economic crisis, increasing development gaps and social disparities, greater
social tensions, terrorism, new migration of peoples. The solutions come from
the working together of the superpowers to restore multilateralism, to resume
democracy, and to join democracy with meritocracy.
