ROLUL ELEMENTELOR HIDROGRAFICE ÎN UMANIZAREA ŢĂRII AMLAŞULUI

ABSTRACT. – Hydrographical Elements Conditioning Amlaş Land Humanization. The rich water resources of the region, with various elements of relief, climate, soil, fauna and vegetation, formed the support component of the regional system of Amlaş Land, particularly favorable to the early and ongoing humanization of it. Groundwater and surface hydrographic network supported both directly and indirectly the life of the inhabitants, by promoting specific activities (especially animal husbandry – the region being known as the „birth place of Roamanian grazing”-, various popular industry, and more recently, as a tourist attraction).
